Know that 100% of the moneys for this event is going to the Indigenous facilitators, caterer & attendees.

No experience needed
Everyone welcome: Indigenous, two-spirit, men, women, non-indigenous.
Due to the limitation in the number of participants because of COVID-19, the event is currently open to adults only.

Indigenous Roots Orleans/Ottawa East community, Forest Schooled & The Healing Circle Farm are partnering together to provide a day for people to come together and have a safe space for community sharing, discussions around environmental impacts, protocols, respect and our personal commitment going forward. 

​

Learning & discussions will take place outside amongst Mother Nature.

​

There will be workshops lead by Indigenous people, locally made indigenous catered lunch & snacks, as well as refreshments available. There will also be a natural product making activity alongside a conversation around respect & our personal commitment to the environment, led by nature-rooted educator Caylin from Forest Schooled.

All supplies needed for the workshops will be provided.

Please keep in mind that this event has a very loose schedule. Together we will be dedicating the day to coming unto the land and learning, sharing, receiving and honoring as a community.

If you cannot attend the event but would like to donate to the Indigenous Roots organization, we would like to encourage you to do so by donating above or sending an e-transfer. Just make sure to let us know that this is a donation and not to claim a spot. 100% of moneys for this event will be used for Indigenous attendees an/or going towards the Indigenous Roots facilitators & organization.

Note on the Investment Cost:

​

All retreats are non-refundable and no credits can be given at this time; but if you are unable to attend after registration is completed, we invite you to transfer your spot to someone of your choice. Please advise us if this should be the case.

​

A full refund will be given in the event that a program is cancelled due to insufficient registration.

Options will be given should the program have to be altered due to Covid-19 Provincial restrictions.

​

The Healing Circle Farm is an outdoor retreat space and runs rain, shine or snow. In case of rain or major snow, we have access to the barn, shelters, and a fire to warm us. We ask that you watch for the day's weather conditions and dress accordingly before making your way. 

In case of severe weather storms, the event will be postponed to a later date. All participants will be contacted in advance.
